    Jamia Teachers’ body provides succour to needy amid Covid-19 2nd wave

    Keeping old tradition of Jamia Millia Islamia’s founders of helping the needy alive, Jamia Teachers’ Association (JTA) distributed 100 ration packets to the poor people at JTA office at 2-3 pm in the presence of all office bearers of JTA.

    JTA expressed gratitude to Hamdard National Foundation India (HNFI) for providing these packets to JTA.

    Office brearers of JTA thanked OSD, HNFI (HECA), Mufti Shauqat for extending all support and cooperation in this noble gesture for humanity.

    “Charity is the need of the hour in this time of unprecedented crisis. Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) said that charity is the best treatment to any decease,” JTA, president, Professor Majid Jamil appealed to the people to come forward and help needy people to overcome all problems faced by us during this crisis of Covid19.

    The JTA expressed deep pain on loosing many colleagues and staff members recently.

    Also, many teachers are under treatment, as informed, said the JTA. “We pray Almighty Allah for good health and safety of everyone, expressed teachers body. Soon JTA is planning to hold an all faith religious prayer meeting and condolence for those who have passed away recently,” JTA secretary Dr M Irfan Qureshi.
