Construction, demolition banned as Delhi’s air quality worsens

Construction and demolition activities save essential projects have been banned in Delhi-NCR under the Graded Response Action Plan stage III after pollution levels in Delhi deteriorated further. Authorities have been directed to implement curbs.

Delhi’s air quality is likely to remain ‘very poor’ till October 31, according to a forecast issued by the Air Quality Early Warning System.
