    AAJMI Treasurer takes political plunge with other Jamia alumni

    With the MCD elections 2022 in Delhi months away, the number of aspirants seeking ticket to contest poll is increasing with each passing day. Among those seeking ticket, AAJMI Treasurer and advocate Mohd Areeb Hasan is a new entrant.

    He told the OT over phone that he has applied for Congress ticket from ward number 101-S, Sarita Vihar. There are other Jamia alumni as well who will be trying their luck.

    Congress leader Syed Fozul Azeem (Arshi), who resides in Noor Nagar and has been active for years in the locality, said he too has applied for the ticket from Sarita Vihar ward. Other Jamia alumni in the race included Shumama, Kamran Rashid and more.

    The list is long.
