    Amanatullah: Court case update

Okhla Aam Aadmi Party MLA Amanatullah Khan has been sent to 14 days in judicial custody by Delhi’s Rouse Avenue court today in connection with a corruption case.

The MLA’s legal team has filed a bail plea which will be heard tomorrow, according to one Okhla resident who is well aware of the development. As the MLA arrested by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on September 16  in connection with the case related to Delhi Waqf Board was to be presented today for bail hearing, many of his supporters had reached there and today’s development left them heart broken once again. Since morning, words had spread on the social media about bail hearing of Khan with many expressing hope that he would be a free man today. Though the development poured cold water on their hope many are hopeful that he might get bail tomorrow.
