    Jamia’s security assistant Kalam no more

    Jamia’s security assistant Kalam dies

    Abul Kalam, security assistant at Jamia Millia Islamia, died a few days ago, according to sources.

    He was laid to rest at Shaheen Bagh graveyard at 11.30 pm on Friday, said university proctor Waseem Khan. He told the OT over phone that he attended Kalam’s last journey in Shaheen Bagh. He died of heart attack, he said.

    Kalam used to reside in staff quarters at Tikona Park. He has left behind three sons, he said, adding that he was about to retire from his job next year.
